Yoga, Mindfulness and Mental Health @ The Kent Collective
I'm delighted to be speaking about how yoga and mindfulness can help us manage our mental health later this month. The event is run by The Kent Collective, which is a free monthly event featuring inspiring talks that will provide a meaningful way for the professional people of Kent to meet like-minded people and engage around key topics of interest.I'll be looking at what yoga and mindfulness say about the health of our minds, and why some of us might struggle with mental health problems. I'll also cover the ways in which these systems can help us. All of this underpinned by some personal stories about my ongoing battle with depression, and how yoga and mindfulness have helped me manage this condition.
